2008 Season

8-16-2008 A good night for Ehde Racing. After last weeks crash, Mike and the team spent the week putting the car back together. And we changed a few things on the car in the process. We must have done something right for a change as we have not been that fast ever on the goodyear tire. I think our best time at the Dells was 14.1 Sec lap and that was on Goodyear slicks I think. So a very happy crew after last nights fast time of 14.25. We started 10th in the feature and ended up 5th. I have not seen the official points yet but this should tighten up the points a little. I just want to take this time to thank all the fans and family for their support. We have seen a lot of new faces this year and considering the fact that most drive a long way to see us I want everyone to know how much we appreciate it. Hold on for the last three weeks of racing. I think Mike and the car are peaking at the right time. It should make for an exciting finish....... |

Well the new season is coming fast. Just a little update as to where we are this winter. As most of our fans know we won a chassis at the Oktoberfest races last fall. We were not real sure what to do with it, build it or sell it. Well we decided after the first of the year to build it. We hope this is the right decision! the car is progressing very well. Mike has spent a lot of time on the car getting it setup. I will try to get some pictures up on the sight soon. We
have the chassis about done. We did electrical last weekend. So the rearend is done, frontend is done, interior is in for the most part, and the seat is installed. We hope to get going on the body in the next week or so. As far as our schedule goes for this year, it is going to be busy as usual. Unfortunately we have decided not to run the Big 8 Series this year. Lets just say we were a little disappointed at the end of the year and they are not running at our home track this year, DRP! So we will be a little less busy , but the Dells is running us every weekend this year the way it looks. So we will concentrate a little more on the Dells and maybe a few specials here and there.....
